Even though Nicky's not currently able to operate at full wingpiglet-wrangling capacity the presence of an entire freezer-drawerful of ready-cooked child-feed which only needs to be taken out in time to defrost for the next afternoon's meal has made things much easier over the past couple of days. I remotely signed in for half a day'sworth of work (though over the course of much longer than it would have taken on a proper work-sized screen) and took the rest as a holiday in order to be able to hang around the house to make sure she was OK; though slowed, she's able to move around enough and should be fine to be left here on her own tomorrow.
