What a productive Saturday, not only did we wake up in time for the free breakfast at our hostel but we opened a Canadian bank account, got Andy a mobile (cell, eek!) phone and found a steaming clock. Pretty good work for a Saturday.

Now to make you jealous I'm sat writing this in the Steamworks Brewing Company enjoying a sleeve (not quite a pint, whose measure I'm not sure) of 'cole porter' ale and looking out at the most incredible view across Vancouver harbour towards Grouse mountain where the lights of the ski runs are glinting through the mist. No guesses where Andy is heading tomorrow!
