Spectral analysis

Got back from town with an hour to kill so attempted to read a bit of the above book - yes, its about quantum dynamics and no, beyond the basics I have pretty much no idea what its on about. Gave in around page 50 and made chilli instead.

Decided to make it a movie evening - the choice was between Citizen Kane (never seen it) and The Rock (seen it a gazillion times), so pretty much opposite ends of the great movie spectrum. Went for the former, and while I'm no great film buff I was deeply impressed. I forsee a discussion with G on Monday.

Nic Cage remake, anyone?
