Elk Viewing

We had a wonderful drive today. One of those "almost" warm days with lots of sunshine. We started our day having coffee at a great coffee shop with family members, then stopped by daughter Annie's and they encouraged us to take time for waffles. Had a great visit with Annie and Paul. I was glad Annie got to sleep in and was feeling much better. The waffles were wonderful. Paul's creation made with dark flour, dried cherries and nuts. Mmmm good.

We drove past the Elk Viewing field north of Reedsport and were pleased to see lots of Elk. This little group was very close to the road so I couldn't resist taking it for my blip today. They are protected here and you can usually see many Elk. We saw one group of at least 50. I love going by this spot. Hope you've had a great day and will have a wonderful tomorrow.
