The passing of an Angel

My little cat Angel died suddenly this afternoon.

She was 14 but still appeared to be like a kitten. She had a bad fall from a second storey balcony when she was a kitten ...survived OK but was always a bit spaced out and I'm sure she had some brain damage.

She had been having fits for the past 12 months or so but the Vet said she possibly wouldn't die during one but today she did. She had been rather sleepy all day and breathing rather heavily ...I though she might be getting ill but now I think she must have had a fit during the night or early morning which weakened her. This afternoon she had another and died in the process.

It is very sad and I'll miss her heaps. Her older cat buddy ...Scamp who is 20 in March is wandering around calling for her.

This pot was given to me by a friend when we had Angel as a new kitten and Ben as a new puppy. Ben died about 4 years ago and was a beautiful German Shepherd - he was about 10 years old when he died. Now both have gone. The pot will be a lovely memory of them both.

There is a picture of Angel in my journal but I don't have the time tonight to find it. I'm feeling rather sad.
