Comeuppance

This unpruned Carignan vine is going to get a shock. We haven't really begun pruning yet and, having had unseasonally warm weather until now, this little fellah has decided it's Spring. However, with snow and -6? forecast during the week, I think he'll lose these pretty leaves.

Living near the Mediterranean one becomes unused to such plummeting temperatures so I can't think we'll be starting the pruning in a hurry. We have until the end of March, so I guess that'll be time enough.

Meanwhile, we spent the morning racking off the rest of the 2010 wine and sterilising the tanks. That's a good job jobbed.
