Snowdrop

This is the snowdrop in our garden.

3 or 4 years ago I planted some bulbs. The instructions confidantly stated that the snowdrops would "rapidly naturalise, forming clumps".

3 or 4 years later this solitary flower has stuggled bravely to the surface and flowered triumphantly. I feel I need to record the occasion.

I think I can see a crocus out there too.
