' Woodcock '

Fluxy brought this beauty and a brace of pheasants over today, I really wish that Woodcock were left alone. They are so stunning and a relative rarity, I know some migrate here this time of year but it seems such a shame to me.

The pheasant on the other hand, hand reared and prime for the pot, maybe I am being hypercritical !!

But here it is, a pic of a gorgeous little dead bird !!
