Have had a lovely day today; wandered around Andover for a few hours before cooking a lovely lasagne for a dinner party like old times.

Two friends from uni who we used to have over a lot when we lived together came for dinner; stories of their proper teaching jobs were shared. I didn't feel sad not to have my own class and to have these opportunities to travel.

After dinner pink iced cupcakes were brought out, lit with four iced candles, and although it has been over two weeks from my birthday Happy Birthday was sung. My fourth birthday cake!

After dinner we tried, with much failure and hilarity, to dress in the saris I had brought from India; unfortunately I didn't get a picture of this.
