Uisge Theavich ........
..... from the Scottish Gaelic which translates as the "pleasant river", the River Teith flows thorough Callander, Deanston and Doune before joining with the lesser Forth north west of Stirling.
This blip was taken just east of Loch Venachar, the snow-capped Ben Venue can just be seen to the left of centre in the background.
Although it was a beautifual bright afternoon it was a cold brisk 3 degrees today. The speight of the river brought the canoeists out in force.
Rather them than me.
