haar, haar, very funny
or possibly 'a game of two haars'. or maybe even 'feeling fretful' (after all, it's haar here in edinburgh, but my parents in northumberland would call it seafret - mist that wanders up from the sea - it's to do with relative temperatures, i believe - and just hangs around the place).
stepped into holyrood park this morning and had the weird sensation that someone had stolen the hills and left a white-painted wall in their place: the haar that snuck in last night was still lurking, hiding arthur's seat and the crags under a snowy white blanket. it burned off a bit when i was out at lunchtime (see above, the grey smudge on the right is the haar), but just rolled back in again this afternoon. it's like a london particular, only less smelly and, y'know, in edinburgh... go a few miles out of the city and it's been a beautiful sunny day apparently, grr.
complemented by a bit of a grr day - copyflow, login issues, and knowledge i've a huge list of chores and tasks for my days off. still, it'll beat being in the office i s'pose.
