Prospect Trust

An nice sculpture representing a boat down by the waterfront in Greenock. The title is the words carved into the metal atached to the rocks.

For 3 miles east from this point until the 1980's many a ship was built and launched onto the clyde. Now one shipyard remains and to the west 2 call centres overlook the clyde. I will avoid getting too political the dramatic reduction of jobs for those with industrial skills has led to a steady demise of the area which it has been struggling to rise from for a long time now.
