I think the Edinburgh International Climbing Arena is a thing of beauty...

At Ratho, it's the biggest indoor climbing arena in the world, apparently.

The stark plaster-like walls, the coloured hand and foot holds, the tight rainbow of ropes. The teeny wee people silhouetted against it all. The scale. Beautiful

As well as being the best looking city (in the UK at least) Edinburgh also has the longest artificial ski slope in Europe... so we don't do so badly for these things.

More people should make use of them. Both of them.

...we went there today to see if the CEO had a head for heights. Needless to say he did. We will be back again soon...
