The open (rail)road
Got this on the way home from work this afternoon, I was at St Columba's in Kirkintilloch playing Snakes and Ladders with their Sunday club. Our week of events for World Leprosy Day is now over. World Leprosy Day is marked around the world on the last Sunday in January, the Sunday closest to the anniversary of Ghandi's death. That date is because he was once asked to open a leprosy colony, which he did, but in the speech he gave said he'd much rather be closing it. Something we heartily support! After this mad week I am still feeling very tired indeed, so will be having an early night.
