A Pants Day

Had a lovely day today but in so many ways it was pants !!!
It was the last day of my daughters birthday fortnight of celebrations and we had the whole family over to get together for Tea and Cake.
My daughter loves to say "Shut up" and is very good at the impersonating the towie gang even though at 12 she has never seen the programme.
So she was given these pants which brought a smile to all of our faces when she slipped then on over her jeans.
Lucky her I thought as my pants barely fit me due to the amount of delicious cake I have consumed.
The recipe for her cake said this cake best eaten on the day it is made so being someone who likes to oblige, I went to have one last piece before bed and I thought a wee bit of ice cream on it would be lovely .....mmmm not so lovely when I discovered a totally defrosted freezer , so no carte d'or for me and a huge bag of food to chuck in the bin .....
As I said a bit of a pants day ... but at least these pants made me smile !!
