traffic light confusion

i've had it several times since being back in NL:
an almost my-bike-versus-car-crash.

other than the SF traffic lights (which show you the seconds you have left to run across the streets) - traffic lights in Amsterdam tell the impatient bike riders how long they have to wait.



('yay, i've got 24 seconds left to cross!')
