Happy Birthday Mum

After a late night last night Rachael still managed to get up at 8.30 so needless to say she has been grumpy and tearful all day.
We started her spelling homework which turned into a row and she stomped off so that's not finished.
She has to go to school dressed as an Anglo Saxon on Wed so the other part of her homework was to research and design a costume, apparantly the Saxons wove there cloth from wool.
A light bulb moment for me was that my mum has old wool blankets tucked away somewhere so she dug one out for me to cut up. Rach thinks its great that her outfit is made from a blanket that is older than me.
Anyway she will be my blip on Wed so you can see my handy work.
That by the way managed to cheat her up and she went off to gym.

We had a lovely leg of Lamb roast tonight to celebrate Mums Birthday, we always do a cake for the kids and of course the candles and the song has to be done for each of them. Christopher must think he has 6 birthdays at least.
I can't resist a slice or two of Birthday cake so I indulged. Back on Extra Easy tomorrow.
