Beaver Fun Day 2011

NOT some sort of kinky festival, but a fun day for Beaver Scouts.

This was the first we, the current Assistant District Commissioners for Beaver Scouts, had run. Although neither of us are strangers to running large scale events, I was really nervous about this one. But it all came together and we scored big time with the weather; it was the best day we've had for weeks, total scorcher! :D

Each Beaver hammered a nail into this plaque and we'll put our logo in the middle, varnish it and display it at the campsite.

After all our preparations it was great to see all the participants enjoying themselves and we ended the day with the first official use of our new campfire circle. The acoustic are brilliant!

Have had great feedback on the day already. Am so happy it was a success but am also glad it's over! ;)
