Night lights

Normally the light pollution doesn't help when you attempt to take pictures at night but that's what I was attempting to capture. Our slightly different blip theme for this weekend is "night scene". I should have put a bit more research in to finding out where the best vantage point was to take my picture but we set off in the car on Saturday night, me driving and Mr Crafty relying on his dodgy phone signal holding out long enough for him to get the OS map to tell us where we were. I know I would have got better results with the DSLR on a tripod but the point and shoot resting on a gate will do for this shot of Livingston at night.
