fuzzy bees are nice to pet

Finally finished the needle and thread collection in the morning (cool and cloudy, very pleasant for collecting). We went to Lost Soldier Creek to check on Thermopsis and stayed awhile looking at other things, including various critters.

We saw a spider munching on a fly, some butterflies (a monarch and some kind of fritterlary) a wasp nest (which I poked with a stick... angry wasps came buzzing out, leading to a quick dash away), and several fuzzy bees.

These bees were very friendly and allowed me to very gently pet them.
