Soup-er Bowl Party

Gary and Sally were hosts for our annual neighborhood Soup-er Bowl Party today. Men have to cook and bring soups, snacks or desserts for this event. You see a sampling of the great selections. We have a great fest tasting all of the concoctions and it becomes a great time to visit. Some of the recipies come from Grandma and some of the recipies come from famous people. My contribution was Vegetable Beef Barley Soup from Betty Crocker's Slow Cooker Cookbook. There were probably 50-60 people in attendance and we had at least 15 different soups, chowders, and chilis. We also enjoyed the balmy afternoon on the patio under sunny Arizona skies.
