Chalet Maya; a ropey Sunday

It definitely seemed like an outstanding idea to hoof up countless Leffes last night, and an even better idea for us to start a tab to enable a handsome flow of the sumptuous but seriously strong beer into our fun-thirsty tummies. We shook disco steps at The Office Bar + had lots of fun with magic-massage-hands-Hattie, wiggling + waving + swaying about the place shaking off another week of just about upholding a traversable level of responsibility. Today marked the departure of the nice-but-dim clients to make room for an almost immediate welcoming of a new batch of lucky holiday makers. But first, this team of unfathomably green + unpresentable line-up of yawning yobbos had to turn over the entire building and remove any spec of existing sleeping, living, loving life that lay there before. Our boss popped in to say B o n j o u r, and what she saw, she said, resembled a very unfortunate car crash. A combination of Conn the Cook with his buggered foot damaged to the extent of a possible break, after a sloppy stumble on our naturally formed ice bridge that leads into our apartment, an unshaven Dan stumbling around with the bog cleaning bucket, fashioning the familiar and well known "the almost legendary Gaffs" desperately off-white version of the definitely legendary T-shirt sporting an array of knock-off under the counter varieties of booze Gaffs is so famously known for flogging to students. And there was I, already honking of my particular version of cleaning induced body odour ;fussing around with soiled bedsheets + trying hard to not giggle about the state of affairs on this Sunday morning, in a luxury chalet. However, pros as we are, we managed to pull it off + get the new lot in, wazzle + dazzle them with a slightly befuddled but animated Welcome Speech + elegant evening dinner service; if only I hadn't spilt a glass of champagne on one of the guests?. Good job they seem like a bloody excellent bunch- looking forward to this week with them.
With regards to the visual, I thought it was about time I introduced you to just one of the many magical monsters I seem to like spending so much of my time with out here. So, voila!
