Broadway Tower
"The highest little castle in the Cotswolds"
Broadway Tower was inspired by the famous Capability Brown and completed in 1799 from designs by James Wyatt.
It was built for the 6th Earl of Coventry as a folly to his Springhall Estate and dedicated to his wife Peggy.
The viewing platform constitutes the highest point in the Cotswolds at 1089 feet /331.8 metres altitude
Close by is memorial stone which was laid in memory of the crew of an R.A.F. bomber that crashed whilst on operational training on 2nd June 1943.
