My dad by my mum

This is a painting of my dad by my mum. It's a textured oil painting & is hard to capture in a photograph - set in the summer, he's catching forty winks after some hard gardening work.

I reckon mum would have had a few opportunities to paint this because post gardening 40 winks sitting in the sun is a regular fixture down there.

I like the almost Spanish "Sancho Panza" look.
