Riverside

A rather dreary day weather wise but it didn't stop me & Josie going into the city. First stop was The Crop Shop where we both got our hairs cut. I did take some photo's of Josie having hers cut but the hoi-polloi riff-raff I live with said that this pic was better. Anyway, we then hit the Chapelfield mall where I was prepared to get enraged with the staff in the Vodafone shop. The nice young man totally took the wind out of my sails though but agreeing with me & sending off Josie's iphone for repairs. Josie tried to do it last week but got flustered when the girl said it wasn't worth sending off as her contract gets renewed next month & just left the shop. Bless her, she is fab in so many ways but really doesn't like confrontation. Whereas her mother...................... ;)

Anyway, we then met the fabulous Angie for lunch and we exchanged Christmas gifts :) Yes, you read that correctly. It's become our thing, we never seem to get organised enough to meet up before Christmas to exchange gifts so we now do it in January and always over lunch in Pizza Hut. It's how we roll :D We didn't get to spend as much time as we would have liked but it was still fab seeing her - if only we lived closer to each other. Then, Josie & I went our seperate ways as she was meeting a friend & coming home later while I came home, sorted the laundry, did the school run, took myself & the kids to the dentist and I am now contemplationg having some soup for tea.

This was taken on the way home, it's ... well, I don't know what you'd call it, but it's a quaint building on the edge of the River Wensum. Always thought it would make a nice photo but never had the chance to stop and get one until today.
