No More Rebus?

Just finished this book, read with must trepidation being an avid Inspecor Rebus fan.

This is the first book featuring Rankin's new police 'hero', Malcolm Fox of Internel Affairs. I tried to forget Rebus and his distinct ways and read with an open mind trying to forge a picture of a much different character (though I think with one or two quiet Rebus' ways).

Anyway, in the end I did enjoy it, and look forward to reading the next in the series, The Impossible Dead (surprisingly already avaialble in hardback at our charity book shop in perfect condition for £3.50)
