Thistle Down

By Ethel

A Fool

A fool is a person,
Whose knowledge is dense.
His actions to others,
Are devoid of sense.

A simpleton he is,
That walketh around dumb.
His ritual is tiresome,
Without any rum.

There is no thought,
And his mind is half.
His senseless maneuvers,
Makes only him laugh.

For under his age,
He rowdies about.
Words have no strength,
Only silliness comes out.

We all are fools,
When we pull from the gutter.
The words of an idiot,
And try them to utter.
