The place where I grew up

I had the day off work today so went to my Mum's for lunch in Westhill - the place where I grew up. We went for a walk up to the golf course and I took some shots of the town - you get an amazing view up there.

Westhill has grown so much in recent years - anyone who hasn't visited the town in a while, probably would not recognise the place now. Especially the industrial estate which is massive now. You will see my old school pictured in the centre of the shot, along with the swimming pool next to it, and further behind you can just make out Tesco which is situated in the industrial estate.

Do I miss Westhill? Yes and no. Lots of happy childhood memories, but at the same time there has been so many changes since I left in 2003, that it almost seems like a different town.
