Thanks for the kind words yesterday - we've just come back from the hospital and we are having a very well deserved drink or two!
Things have been good and bad for Marianne. Bad because her brother has many problems apart from his health and is more or less homeless.
Good because she has finally seen relatives that she lost contact with for years, one of whom is a lawyer and can get her brother sorted out with social services, though he needs to make the effort as well. They are already on the case.
It makes a change for us to have someone else's family to worry about too.
