Erithacus rubecula

A glorious day of bright sunshine today, in complete contrast to yesterday , luring me out for a ramble round town and the park, and I ended up with more choices for a blip than I know what to do with. Despite the wealth of possible options this photo won out as the choice for the day - I was in the middle of taking some shots of ducks silhoutted on a pond when the robin landed about a foot away, I had to zoom out to fit him in frame. Having posed for a photo and hijacked the ducks' chance to be the blip of the day he left as abruptly as he'd arrived.
