Nithsdale Lodge, Pollokshields, Glasgow
Low golden sunlight on the sandstone. The former Free Church on Nithsdale Road, which is now a care home. I used to think this must be a Greek Thomson building, however after some research, found it was designed by W G Rowan, 1875-9, in the Thomsonesque Greek Style. I blipped the clock tower over two years ago. I don't know why I haven't photographed it since, as I pass it often. We are fortunate to have so many beautiful buildings in our city.
I really like the details, the columns, the arches, you can see more in large.
