Last Day - Boo!

I know.
I should have been up early more often during this holiday.
But I was very tired.
Much walking.
Immense pleasure.
Too much to take in.

On this last day - flight leaves at 5pm - I decided I would set my alarm for 6AM.

I got up and set off around Dorsoduro - lots of great pics without the usual heaving masses of tourists.

This is looking across the Giudecca Canal - and the church is San Giorgio.

There are so many images of Venice.

All wonderfull. Unique. Spectacular.

We will be back. There is so much more to see.

I love this place. I love Liz.

We will always hold Venice close to our hearts.

It is as special as our love.
