A red double decker bus to remind us of the English roots of this city. It stands like a memorial to what turned out to be completely inappropriate architecture and building materials (unreinforced stone, brick and concrete) for the geology of our land.

Now we look forward with a blank canvas to a new chapter in our history. One that can remember our past, honour those who died and have lost so much and respect the nature of the land beneath us.
