Flowers for my mum

My mum had a small op yesterday.
As she was due home this afternoon but I couldn't get time off work, I raced over to her house in my lunch hour to leave her some flowers. They looked very proper in their cellophane, like little soldiers waiting for her arrival, but when I put them in the vase they all flopped.
Still, I plonked them down here while I moved the table over and thought how wonderful the colours all were together, so I blipped them. And decided I liked them all flopped.
I heard later, the hospital are keeping my poor mum in for another night, but these will be waiting for her when she arrives home tomorrow.
