Hope of Spring
Whirly large
We're having much warmer temperatures today and the sparrows came early to chirp their gossip in my rose bush. I heard the blue jay's warning calls but he didn't come near.
Pom the red finch showed up about the same instance as the chick-a-dee; there was a brief skirmish over a perch and the black capped flew off. I was able to capture just a portion of Pom's wings as he flitted between the feeders. He's far too quick for me!
I've been back and forth between Translucence 2 and this, but I think I like the contrast between the two sparrows here. It's also light and pretty like my pastels, and it reminds me of spring.
