Shoreline Still Life

I had a wonderfully long walk with a friend, Lynette, this morning along the shore. There were ducks , seals, cormorants. Later I found this single orange wellie on the tide line, standing upright, beside the length of fraying , blue rope.

The scene put me in mind of the recent tragedy of a fishing boat which went down with all the crew off the south coast. One lad who drowned was out in the boat for his first ever trip; he apparently went out to see if that's what he wanted to do in his life. So sad.

I'm still having problems with the uploading- having to use a different set-up for the time being. Very annoying.
