My next car?

Sorry, no photographic merit in this, but after the experience yesterday, and waiting until near lunchtime for news of the replacement tyre on the Smart, this is still uppermost in my mind. A phone call from Mercedes earlyish in the day did not help - tone of the call was aggressively defensive - Smart is a City, Town car (so should I have ventured 15 miles into the countryside, let alone my fairly frequent 200 mile plus journeys??), they don't run a car breakdown service (I have never thought of my 20 plus punctures previous to this car as 'breakdowns' as I could fix them myself, and if they sell a car without a spare wheel, or even what is known now as a space-saver, I thought I understood when I bought my first Smart in 2003 that they offered some sort of support in the event of a simple PUNCTURE - and I didn't expect it to be free either). The tone of the call was that it was all my fault, and of course nothing to do with them (puncture nothing to do with them at all of course; it was the level of service which really upset me, and this person really made it **MUCH** worse).

Better to follow- was able to recover the car just before lunch time (thanks Arthur for the lift to Stourbridge), though I have to say I have zero faith in it now. A bit later Smart manager of local dealer phoned - complete contrast to Mercedes, themselves, excellent response to an upset customer, and I have felt much better since, though I'm afraid the Smart will still have to go! Not decided on the replacement yet (3 candidates, one of which is a Mini as in the picture). Actually, I bought the models several days ago, for a slightly different image.
