Amazing tree

Having walked along the river bank the footpath took me past the local pond, not quite frozen over, allowing one sole Duck to take shelter amongst the reeds The resident heron taking flight on detecting my presence i pushed on trying out out a bit of 'night photography' with not much success,however i came across this amazing tree. What do you think.
