Fruits of my labours - Apricot jam

The shop up the road (called the Funky Pumpkin) has cheap fruit for jam, the only one anywhere near us that does, so when we heard them advertising this morning it was in the car and off to get some.

Apricots were cheap and very nice, so I got one sort - Sundrop - for making jam and another sort - our all time favourite Moorpark to stew and have with ice cream, and to eat.

Jam making went well, although it was very hot (for here) about 28C. By the time I'd finished the jam and started on pickle the wind had changed and it was about 18C!

I make one batch of jam and then freeze the others to make up fresh later in the year.
