cool blue

41C was not reached today, instead a tepid 38 but still a tad warm for littlies heading to school after the six week break.

Friends 'up the street' have a glorious pool so junior lad and I wandered up loaded with flippers, snorkel and mask and seriously cooled off. Even looking at the expanse of blue water is hydrating! As I write it is raining and the temperature dropping by the second...yeeehah.
