Yarn Bus Bomb Stop

Today we I headed out into the cold with the little ones to see a bus stop that had been yarn bombed down the road so that it resembled a living room to highlight the issues of the homeless and financial crisis at current.

We had a cup of tea with the artists before having our pictures taken and leaving a card and message. They were very impressed with Girl who was quite the model for them. We then headed into the cafe nearby for tea and pink cakes out of the cold. Boy had been asleep at the bus stop but had then woken in a grump. This grump only increased when I changed his nappy and then went up another level when the park was just too cold for both little ones.

I do hope that one day my little ones will realise that if the run about a bit they will warm up, as opposed to the current practise of standing around and then sitting on on cold bars of climbing frames and then complaining that they are too cold to move and need to be in a buggy.

So it was a very loud and upset journey home. Thankfully it was not too far and so it was not long until we were all on the sofa fairly happily eating snacks that are not on the Wife approved list.

The other chap in the picture with Girl was funny when he turned up as he was worried about sitting on the knitting as he may ruin it. He was not really sure what was going on but was more bothered about when the number 18 was going to arrive, either that or he didn't like what was on the telly box.
