an arty sort of day

Once I got some techy website management stuff out of the way, today became a day about art.

It's not how I'd planned to spend the day but this was better than being too miffed about not being able get out and enjoy the sunshine. The website management stuff was urgent so a trip to the beach was out of the question and by the time I'd finished that it was too late to think about going out.

Oh well, at least I'm now up to date with my writing commitments and I've spent the afternoon working on improving my sketching skills with my tablet. I have to say that I love my little tablet! :) I haven't had it long and now I don't know how I managed without it!

Tomorrow will be something of a milestone for me. I will be going for my first proper dance training session since October 2010! Yikes, when I see written down like that it seems like a lifetime ago, I hope I can remember how to dance!

My life has changed so much since then, so it's bound to be an emotional thing. Especially as primarily this is about discovering how much I can actually do. Dance has been my life for so long that it's been hard to imagine what I'd do without it. I know not to expect too much but it's still going to be hard!
