Nearly ready

Well, thanks to Roz we're just about packed for our holiday. We've a week in Kinlochbervie (or Ceann Loch Biorbhaidh if you want the gaelic spelling) to look forward to. We've gone there several times over the last six or seven years and really enjoy the relaxed pace of life. We never made it last year and really missed it so it will be all the better going this year.

The only unfortunate part is that we usually stay in a wee village called Polin which is a couple of miles outside 'bervie itself and is a five minute walk from a beautiful sandy beach. This time we're right on the outskirts of KLB. I'm sure it will be lovely but our wee evening strolls down to the beach will be out of the question after a couple of glasses of wine.

Still we're within walking distance of the pub this year so swings and roundabouts.

We leave on Friday and have a night in a hotel in Ullapool before heading up to the cottage on the Saturday afternoon.

I can't wait.
