Plinth

At St Pancras station in London there is a large statue called The Lovers which I don't like at all. Today however, I walked past it and noticed for the first time that round the base there is a sort of frieze of much more interesting bronzes. There is a mix of large heads and smaller scenes featuring trains, railways, stations and bridges, some with rather surrealist perspectives like this one.
