Winter Heliotrope
Bit of a quicky blip today, my lunch break was brief, as I was determined to get some shop paper work finished today! I wanted to celebrate Brigid's Day, the first day of spring in the Celtic calender, with something flowering, so this is it, the rather unusual flowers of Winter Heliotrope, Petasites fragrans, which has actually been flowering for a good few weeks now. It didn't feel very spring like today, it was really cold, with a biting wind from the east.
Off to supper with freespiral, her partner and friends Klaus and Annabel tonight, so nice to be cooked for after a long day at work.
Our cards are back from the printers and they look great, if I say so myself !
