Lane to Stainsby - Walk Day 1

[Archive blip]. I did a series of 17 walks covering the whole of the upper Rother valley basin above the Rother Valley Country Park near Killamarsh. It gave a great insight into the new part of the world we had recently moved into.

This lane descends from Ault Hucknall to Stainsby, at the northern edge of the Hardwick Hall estate.

Day 1 - 25 km. Carr Vale and Bolsover, Palterton, Glapwell, Ault Hucknall, Stainsby, around Holmewood, Heath, Doe Lea, Bramley Vale, Doe Lea valley, Carr Vale.
