Brockholes

It has been a lovely, sunny, freezing day today. I spent the morning at Brockholes http://brockholes.org/ a nature reserve which is pretty much underneath Junction 31 of the M6.
As a freelancer I am always on the lookout for interesting and accessible places for meetings, and the cafe at Brockholes is fast becoming a favourite (the other is Coffee Exchange in Blackburn).
As you approach the centre there is a series of cutout metal sculptures alongside the path and today the low, bright sun cast beautiful shadows on the earth.
