In Bits!

It was all going so well.
In from work. Oven on. Bit of baking.

Made dinner.

Went to make my cream cheese frosting. Disaster!!!!!! Bits falling out of the mixer. Couldn't make up my mind if it was dust/flour/burnt bits of mixer motor ;-)

My live-in engineer was soon on the case. Dismantled, inspected, cleaned out oh my goodness it was FULL of flour/icing sugar and other bits and bobs and put back together again. It seems to be working fine now. I am very glad as my arm is aching with just having made the frosting by hand with a wooden spoon!

I shall have to wait a bit longer for the luxury of a Kitchenaid.
