Berlin Bear

Catherine left for Berlin this morning to begin a three month placement, and so today's blip is a model of the Berlin Bear. This was given to me by a friend who is a Berliner. If you look closely, you may see the Küdamm marked across its middle. This is Berlin's Princes Street (well, perhaps on a grander scale). And down by its paws is the River Havel, complete with a small bear with a rubber ring to keep it afloat.

Missing Catherine already. The forecast for Berlin is -20 degrees. Hope she took lots of warm clothes!
