I was standing taking a few pic's of a couple of young crows on a streetlamp when I was asked, by this couple, to take a picture of them. I took three, this is the one that I like best.
I don't know their names, have no information at all other than that his voice made me think of a Norman McCaig poem, "Assisi"
"....... whose lopsided mouth
said Grazie in a voice as sweet
as a child's when she speaks to her mother
or a bird's when it spoke
to St Francis."
- a surprisingly gentle sound and a sweetness in the pair of them which is still making me smile 12 hours later when I look at the photo and think of them.
